Super Saturdays at Dominican University start Nov 16

UPDATE 10/16:  Four weeks ’til Super Saturdays at Dominican University!  Apply now (pdf).  Five courses will be offered for this first session: Build It, Written and Illustrated By, Tune Up, Advanced Rocketry, and Animal Safari.

Several universities offer their own Saturday programs for GATE kids; now Marin’s own Dominican will, too. Dominican’s beloved two-week Summer Odyssey program for grades 1-8 is expanding into a fall program over four Saturdays 11/16, 11/23, 12/7, and 12/14.  They may offer a winter program, too, in March.

“Super Saturday’s sessions are designed to enrich learning experiences through class offerings in art, math, science, performing arts, foreign language, writing/poetry, and other subject areas. These classes will follow a similar format to the Summer Odyssey class offerings; i.e. focus on a particular learning area or skill using a project-based learning approach. These sessions are designed for multi-age classes and small-group instructional settings (10-15 students). Classes are taught by highly qualified instructors from Marin County.”
