“Community Powered Learning…” and You
MV GATE programs are taught in an innovative “community-powered learning” mode. This starts with a mobilization of committed parents, then the recruitment of a volunteer team of parents and older students who join in to help teach coding and computers to their kids and, often, younger siblings. A family- and school-based model, the result is immediate implementation of quality computer-science programs at zero cost to any school or school district.
